Role Overview

The ERP Administrator will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, ensuring seamless integration across academic, admissions, finance, HR, and student lifecycle management functions. This role requires technical expertise in ERP administration, process automation, data management, and user training to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in ERP system administration, enterprise software management, or IT operations, preferably in higher education, EdTech, or service-driven industries. The role demands a deep understanding of ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

ERP System Administration & Optimization

Manage the configuration, customization, and maintenance of the ERP system to meet institutional needs.

Ensure seamless integration between ERP modules for admissions, student records, finance, HR, and learning management systems (LMS).

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement upgrades or enhancements to optimize efficiency.

User Support & Training

Provide technical support and troubleshooting to faculty, staff, and administrative teams using the ERP system.

Conduct user training sessions to enhance ERP adoption and usability.

Work closely with functional teams to understand and resolve ERP-related issues.

Data Management & Reporting

Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security within the ERP system.

Develop and manage custom dashboards, reports, and analytics for institutional decision-making.

Work with finance and academic teams to generate accurate compliance and regulatory reports.

Process Automation & System Integration

Design and implement workflow automation and process optimizations to improve administrative efficiency.

Collaborate with IT teams to integrate ERP with CRM, LMS, HRMS, and other enterprise applications.

Utilize APIs and middleware tools to streamline data exchange between ERP and external systems.

Security, Compliance & System Upgrades

Ensure compliance with data security policies, industry standards, and institutional regulations.

Conduct regular audits, backups, and system health checks to prevent data loss and unauthorized access.

Manage ERP system patches, upgrades, and new module deployments in collaboration with vendors.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Certifications in ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) are a plus.

Experience:

8-10 years of experience in ERP administration, enterprise system management, or IT support.

Prior experience in higher education, EdTech, or enterprise-level ERP environments is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

ERP System Expertise: Hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent ERP systems.

Process Automation & Optimization: Ability to design and implement ERP workflows, automation, and process improvements.

Data Management & Reporting: Strong skills in SQL, data analysis, and report generation using ERP analytics tools.

Integration & API Management: Experience in connecting ERP systems with CRM, LMS, HRMS, and financial applications.

Security & Compliance: Knowledge of data privacy regulations, system security best practices, and audit controls.

User Training & Support: Strong ability to train non-technical users and provide ongoing system support.

Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Analytical mind-set with expertise in resolving system issues and optimizing performance.
