Our well-established client in the mining sector is seeking experienced Creditors Clerks to join their finance team immediately. This is a fast-paced accounts payable environment requiring strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure. Experience in the mining industry will be advantageous, although candidates from other high-volume accounts payable environments will also be considered.

The successful candidate will take ownership of core creditors’ activities that are essential to the day-to-day financial operations of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Capture financial data including statements, invoices, and credit notes


• Allocate payments against invoices and reconcile supplier accounts


• Perform supplier account reconciliations and age analysis


• Process purchase orders and capture cashbook entries


• Reconcile payments with the general ledger


• Maintain electronic filing and accurate documentation


• Communicate with suppliers to resolve queries


• Travel to mining sites as required and meet month-end deadlines

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Finance related tertiary qualification


• 3-5 Years experience in creditors/accounts payable


• Advanced Excel skills


• Mining finance background


• Experience in Acumatica is advantageous


• Own reliable transport
