Since 2015, the company has been led by award-winning architects Shezaan Bhojani and Gita Ramanan, who bring over two decades of national and international design experience. Anoop Krishnan, an experienced sales, business development, and business consulting professional with 16 years in the eCommerce, Consumer Products, and FMCG Retail sectors, is now building DesignCafe as its COO. Together, they have successfully designed over 10,000 homes nationwide, featuring their work in more than 30 design publications worldwide. Under their leadership, DesignCafe continues to set new benchmarks in the home interior design industry.
Job Title: Business Head - Delhi and Chennai Job Overview: As the Business Head at Design Cafe, you will focus on P&L management, driving business growth, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. Your role will involve leading campaigns and offers to increase customer footfall. Additionally, you will manage and guide the Store Sales Head and Head of Design, ensuring sales targets are met and design projects are executed to the highest quality. Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight: Manage all city-wide operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Leadership and Team Management: Lead and develop the team, fostering collaboration and
high performance. Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth
and profitability. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of design and execution, ensuring customer
satisfaction. Collaboration and Coordination: Align city operations with overall company objectives, working
closely with senior leadership. Market and Competitor Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adapt
strategies and maintain competitiveness. Customer Focus: Enhance customer footfall and satisfaction through exceptional service
delivery and effective handling of client needs.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree- in the related field. Minimum 6 -10 years of proven experience in B2C sales, and expertise in managing stores and
centers in different states. Preferred experience working with any Interior Design Firms, Edtech, and B2C Retail ecosystem. Excellent leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and team management skills with a proactive mindset. Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
