SQE / SDE Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary Purchasing supplier quality liaison between Operation and the Supplier.
Ensure purchased productive parts and approved and production ready.
Work with buyers to access and select new and capable Electrical suppliers.
Serve as technical resource to Engineering and SQE – Supply Quality Engineer.
Support Asia Pacific PML purchased productive supplier quality issue after Product SOP
Monitor and evaluate suppliers quality performance to ensure Continuous Improvement of purchased productive Electrical parts quality.
Provide technical resource and conduct quality workshops with suppliers.
Assess purchase productive part suppliers to determine whether the suppliers’ quality system is acceptable with final approval from Supervisor.
Approve sourcing decisions from quality perspective.
Implement, facilitate and ensure completion of the APQP process with selected suppliers including final part approval of assigned regional commodities.
Ensure that the supplier quality engineers and engineering.
Meet core competency expectations.
Improve quality level of purchased productive parts.
Provide technical assistance to operations.
Conduct quality workshops.
Meet core competency expectations.

Requirements:
Degree in Engineering
Minimum 5 years’ experience is preferable
