A leading pediatric healthcare organization in Connecticut is expanding its ophthalmology services and seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Comprehensive Pediatric Ophthalmologist to join a collaborative, mission-driven team. The Pediatric Ophthalmologist will provide comprehensive medical and surgical eye care for infants, children, and adolescents. The role includes diagnosis, treatment, and management of a broad range of pediatric ocular conditions while working closely with a multidisciplinary pediatric care team.
Diagnose and treat a full spectrum of pediatric ophthalmic conditions including:
Corneal disease
General ocular disease
Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP)
Strabismus and amblyopia
Pediatric glaucoma and cataracts
Oculoplastics conditions
Ocular trauma and eye injuries
Provide surgical and non-surgical treatment as appropriate
Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and referring providers
Participate in clinical program development and quality initiatives
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Ophthalmology
Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency and Pediatric Ophthalmology fellowship
Commitment to patient-centered pediatric care
Strong clinical and surgical skills across comprehensive pediatric ophthalmology
