Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other related fields
Licensed Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or equivalent certification
At least 8 - 10 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management, property management, engineering or construction
At least 3 years of leadership / people management experience
Knowledgeable in building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety).
Experience in project management
Open to work in a hospital setup
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees the whole operation of the unit, managing both internal and outsourced employees.
Maintains the structure and monitors the general upkeep of the hospital.
Implements policies and procedures for the department.
Ensures implementation of required preventive and corrective maintenance for all relevant facilities and equipment.
Monitors and implements control measures to ensure the cost-efficient usage of machinery/equipment and utilities.
Monitors the performance of all contracted suppliers/service providers for all construction/renovation/repair works
Monitors and ensures the safe disposal of generated wastes.
Implements the facility’s waste management program and ensures the strict adherence to the policy on waste segregation in all areas of the hospital.
Ensures compliance with all national and local agency regulations pertinent to the operations of the facility (LLDA, DENR, ECC, etc.)
In-charge of the renewal of relevant permits (Fire Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, Sanitary) and other permits and licenses that are necessary for the facility on a prescribed period.
