A global leader in the export of agricultural commodities is seeking an experienced SeniorTalent Acquisition Specialist to lead and deliver end-to-end recruitment across South Africa and international markets. This is a senior, in-house role requiring the capability to recruit at executive and senior management level, partner closely with leadership, and drive recruitment strategy, systems, and onboarding processes.
The successful candidate will operate as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and work closely with the remuneration specialist to ensure roles, grades, and remuneration are accurately mapped and aligned to business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across South Africa and international regions
Lead and execute senior management and executive-level recruitment locally and globally
Partner with senior leadership to understand workforce planning and strategic hiring needs
Engage with line managers to define role requirements, competencies, grading, and job architecture
Collaborate with the remuneration specialist on role mapping, grading, benchmarking, and remuneration alignment
Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned to business objectives
Lead and manage recruitment systems, including Zoho Recruit or similar ATS, ensuring effective use for hiring and onboarding
Own and continuously improve recruitment and onboarding processes
Manage recruitment agencies and external service providers where required
Ensure compliance with labour legislation and internal governance standards
Provide recruitment reporting, insights, and market intelligence to leadership
Strengthen employer branding and candidate experience across all hiring levels
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 7 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment
Proven in-house recruitment experience within a reputable, recognizable organisation
Demonstrated track record of recruiting senior management and executive roles
Experience in international recruitment and cross-border hiring
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to operate confidently at executive level
Hands-on experience using Zoho Recruit or similar ATS, including onboarding modules
Strong understanding of organisational design, role profiling, grading, and remuneration frameworks
Solid knowledge of South African labour legislation
Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field (advantageous)
