Translation is the heart of what we do. We are looking for a Localization Engineer to join our Production team. As a Localization Engineer, you will be designing and implementing technical improvements in our internal workflow. We are looking for a skilled L10N engineer to assist us in implementing new operating procedures and automation opportunities. This is a full-time, remote opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
• Analysis of document, software and website localization kits including all source files for quotation
• Analysis and preparation of document, software and website localization kits including all source files and various formats for translation project workflows
• Research, training, and reports on assigned localization tools and topics as required
• Participate in client calls to support project managers and sales representatives
• Maintenance of translation memories on assigned accounts
• Participate in trainings, webinars and demos of different technologies/applications related to localization and internationalization.
• Creation and configuration of translation tools (CAT and MT)
• Assist with RFP content
• Provide client demonstrations
• Collaborate with external developers
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
• Knowledge of CAT tools required MemoQ and Trados
• Proficient in Plunet Management system
• Proficient in the Microsoft Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• 3years of localization engineering at a LSP or similar Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required
