SECTION II. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE



 



This role will be responsible for managing the IT Server and Network for the Organization. Will be the SPOC for server, storage and network related services including new initiatives and 24 X 7 Support.



SECTION III. Key Result Areas



 



 



Ownership of IT Server, Storage and Network infrastructure



• Network Infrastructure (including engagements with Telecom Service providers)



• Server Infrastructure



• Collaboration / Communication / VC Infrastructure



• Operating Systems / Databases / VMWare / Citrix



• Manages IT L2 FMS



IT Adaption & Effectiveness



o Drive Availability, Effectiveness and Adaption of IT Infrastructure



• Ensure 24x7 Monitoring and Uptime of IT Infrastructure



• Continuous engagement/review with Infrastructure Hardware / Services partner/provider



• Ensure Effective business user support through optimal use of the Facility Management (FMS)/Helpdesk teams based on internal SLA and KPI



• Ensure Implementation / augmentation of requisite server and network infrastructure for projects / new or existing initiatives



• Setup and Testing of IT Server / Network / Storage systems and infrastructure.



 



IT Innovation / Awareness



o Continuous evaluation of new Hardware/Services from Solution Partners



o Continuous Evaluation and Monitoring of the IT Security Landscape and Threats, Statutory/Compliance Requirements



o Executing Training Programs to improve IT awareness (IT Controls/Governance) among team members and YOHT employees.

Knowledge, Skills and Experiences



Competencies



Educational Background:



 



- Mandatory: Bachelor in Comp / Electronics /MBA-IT / MCA



- Preferred: Certification in ITIL Foundation / CCNP / MCSE / VCP / Azure and Citrix Virtual Apps



 



Functional/ Technical Competencies:



- Must have experience across IT Server and Network Infrastructure, VMWare, Citrix and FMS domains



- Experience of designing, planning, and implementing system and network architectures that are high performing, scalable, fault tolerant, secure, and compliant



- Experience of setting up Enterprise Server and Network Infrastructure environment with the right sizing and capacity planning



- Experience in DC-DR solutioning/implementation from Infrastructure Point of View



- Strong exposure and knowledge of the Networking Technology



- Strong Working knowledge of Virtual Architecture



- Strong Working knowledge of Cloud Environments



- Strong working knowledge of the IT Security Landscape and solutions



- Sound Understanding of the evolving Technology domain



- Strong Project Management / Delivery Management Skills

Work Experience:
