Job Position Summary



The Sales Head – Localization will be responsible for driving business growth by expanding the company’s localization services across global markets. The role involves developing strategic sales plans, acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, and leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets in the localization and language services domain.



 



Key responsibilities



1. Identify and develop new business opportunities for localization services including translation, localization QA, linguistic testing, and content adaptation.



2. Build and maintain relationships with global clients across various industries such as IT, e-learning, automotive, biotech etc.



3. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.



4. Engage with decision-makers such as Product Heads, Engineering Heads, Localization Managers, and Procurement teams.



5. Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.



6. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.



7. Research and identify new markets and industry segments for localization services.



8. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.



9. Track industry trends and competitor activities to develop strategic plans.



10. Lead, mentor, and guide the sales team to achieve targets.



11. Establish sales processes, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.



12. Collaborate closely with Marketing, Delivery, and Operations teams.



13. Prepare sales forecasts, revenue projections, and market expansion strategies.



14. Work closely with leadership to align sales goals with company growth objectives.



 



Desired Qualification / certifications



Graduate in any discipline, PMP etc. certification preferred, though not essential



Some level of expertise or knowhow of at least one language other than English & mother tongue is preferable



Preferred relevant work experience



10+ years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in localization, translation, language services, or IT services.



 



Skills and knowledge



10+ years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in localization, translation, language services, or IT services.



Strong understanding of localization workflows, translation technologies, and global content strategies.



Proven track record in enterprise sales and client acquisition.



Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.



Ability to engage with CXO-level stakeholders and decision-makers.



 



Position reports to



CTO, Fidel Softech



Position supervises



Team of 10-15 members including Project Managers, Sales Team



Travel needed



SOS or need basis



Location



Fidel Softech, Pune office
