Manage the Warehousing operations of Consumer products division across the country
Customer Focus – ensuring service levels are being managed well by 3PL service providersas well as own warehouses
Cost Control – ensure that 3PLs and service providers are billing as per contracts
Drive manpower productivity in the Warehousing operations by managing operations efficiently
Manage Transportation costs in a very efficient manner
Ensure regular inventory and process audits are carried out across all the warehouse ecosystem
Work closely with SAP and IT team to deliver technology solutions
Important Competencies
12-15 years’ experience in a warehousing environment: sectors can be consumer goods, consumer durables, retail or large courier (having contract logistics)
Should have managed a large warehouse or a set of warehouses, with single warehouse size of at least 1 lakh sqft
Experience in managing transportation (Full Truck Load, Part Truck Load and Retail courier)
Should have managed a team size of at 5-8 managerial and Supervisory personnel
Experience in working in a warehouses in a factory environment would be a preferred experience
