Job Title: Business Development Manager (SaaS - Technology)

Location: Lekki, Lagos (Fully On-site)

 Salary Range: ₦900,000 – ₦1,300,000 (monthly, gross)



Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in SaaS software sales to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and build strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will lead go-to-market initiatives, manage enterprise relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable technology solutions across key industries.



Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute comprehensive business plans for assigned software solutions and practices.

2. Define short- and long-term strategic goals focused on revenue growth and market expansion.

3. Align business development strategies with overall corporate objectives.

4. Collaborate with sales and business teams to build and maintain a strong, qualified sales pipeline.

5. Drive achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets.

6. Ensure accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and pipeline visibility.

7. Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders within Financial Services, Manufacturing, and Oil & Gas organizations.

8. Facilitate enterprise-level engagements that promote technology-driven solutions.

9. Represent the organization in partner meetings, conferences, and joint initiatives.

10. Develop and execute effective GTM strategies for SaaS and enterprise solutions.

11. Align GTM approaches with market opportunities, industry trends, and customer needs.

12. Ensure strong collaboration between marketing, presales, and delivery teams during execution.

13. Coordinate internal teams including Sales, Technical, and Marketing to ensure seamless execution of business plans.

14. Maintain consistent communication across functions, and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

15. Identify, pursue, and secure strategic partnerships with technology providers, customers, and industry influencers.

16. Manage alliance activities and ensure adherence to partner program and certification requirements.

17. Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.

18. Provide actionable insights to inform business strategy and sales planning.

19. Proactively adjust strategies to protect and grow market share.

20. Provide market feedback and insights to product, technology, and engineering teams.



Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.

6–10 years of experience in business development or enterprise SaaS sales.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

Strong understanding of SaaS business models, GTM strategies, and enterprise sales cycles.
