CCTV Infrastructure Specialist (Systems Engineer)



Responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of CCTV surveillance systems and hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) to ensure reliable, high-availability video monitoring and core infrastructure services. This role focuses on integrating robust server technologies, database management, clustering solutions, and cloud integration to support secure, scalable video storage and retrieval operations across SFM Sports Venues. The specialist will collaborate with security, IT operations, and compliance teams to minimize downtime, enhance system performance, and mitigate risks



Requirements:



• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 2 years focused on surveillance or video systems and HCI.

• Proven track record in deploying and troubleshooting high-availability environments in enterprise settings.

• Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment, including on-call rotations for critical system support.





Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (or equivalent).

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (preferred for cloud-integrated CCTV solutions).

• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification in cybersecurity fundamentals





Required Skillset:

SQL Always On: In-depth familiarity with configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting SQL Server Always On Availability Groups for database mirroring and failover in CCTV video management systems.

• Failover Clustering: Expertise in Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC), including quorum configuration, shared storage integration, and automated failover testing.

Windows Server Operations: Advanced proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 administration, including Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, Hyper-V virtualization, and performance optimization for I/O-intensive workloads.

•Additional skills: Knowledge of IP-based CCTV protocols (e.g., ONVIF, RTSP), network troubleshooting (VLANs, QoS for video traffic), and basic scripting in PowerShell or Python for system automation.

•Experience with HCI platforms (e.g., Nutanix, VMware vSAN, Microsoft Azure Stack HCI) is highly desirable.
