Description:
Role & Responsibitity : -
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of Civil and Structural Engineering design and analysis.
• Assume sole responsibility for assigned Civil and Structural Engineering work scopes.
• Carry out Civil and Structural discipline work within a project team, supporting the project team for the facilities
• Prepare Civil and Structural Engineering deliverables for all project phases the oil and gas industry
• Perform engineering design calculations and prepares design sketches as required on assigned projects
• Verify that all designs are to required standards, that the objectives of the project are met and that the works is completed to the agreed schedule
• Work with Civil Designer to Review, direct and verify and issue Civil and Structural Engineering drawings
• Participate in and advice on all design activities and documentation review
• Preparation of project related specifications and standards on assigned projects
• Responsible for the study and preparation of site development plans including the earthwork calculations as well as the preparation of the BoQs related to the earthworks (excavation and backfill
• Responsible of the Design of underground networks (storm water, sanitary water, oily water etc.)
• Responsible for ensuring that all assigned activities are carried out within the stipulated man-hour budgets and time schedules
• Review, comment on and approves drawings related to his field of activity
• Review and comment on supplier and other discipline drawings
• Assist in the preparation of contract requisitions and schedules of quantity for Underground Utilities work on assigned projects
• Perform such duties as may reasonably be assigned by the lead or supervising Civil Engineer
• Perform all assigned work to agreed standards for safety, health environment and demonstrate a commitment to attaining high levels of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) performance
Must have ADNOC experience (any nationality)
