Secondary Skill– Java/Spring framework/JPA/Hibernate family
Technical Skill-set Required -
Understanding EIS V20 sub-systems – façade, policy-ms, billing-ms, customer-ms, claims-ms, docgen-ns, openL, validations, enrichments, platform, EIS V20 Data Model
Experience in Java 8 and above
Experience in Spring 5
Experience in Hibernate 5, JPA 2
Experience in Apache Camel, Apache CXF, swagger
Experience in XML, REST/SOAP Web service
Experience of working in MS SQLServer Database
Preferably have basic understanding of AWS platform
Preferably Knowledge of EIP (camel), maven, Jenkins, knowledge of liquibase is a plus,
Understanding of UML, authentication protocols/mechanisms, security, concepts of aws.
Database: Moderate experience with any major databases (Oracle or SQL server)
Certifications : Good to have (Agile / Java / EIS)
Roles & Responsibilities -
Experience in system implementation including design and development.
Understanding business requirement and come up with solution design that is in alignment with product architecture and can make use of most of the suite features.
Solution approaches should be explained to and sometimes negotiated with the project stakeholders including product architects and make a decision about the implementation roadmap.
Mentoring / guiding developers during development phase. Solving technical issues development team may face during development. Building prototypes and working code using the tools and technologies product uses. Making sure all codes are unit tested properly and code compliant with sonar standards.
Liaising with other teams including infrastructure team, product vendor, customers and other teams interacting with the product to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner and dependencies are addressed within the implementation timeline. Resolving conflicts with base product is another important aspect of the responsibilities.
Troubleshooting and debugging issues in different environments. Impact analysis of any upstream and downstream system undergoing changes.
Estimate for new work in terms of WP.
Organizing demonstration sessions with all stakeholders for the developed features.
