Senior Consultant, Automotive, MLEU Consulting

Cognizant’s MLEU Consulting team has open opportunities for Senior Consultant designations, in its
Automotive consulting practice. We are a team of advisory consultants & product managers working for global
Automotive clients to create significant business value. The team leverages their technology savviness,
functional expertise to lead and execute digital transformation initiatives.
We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Consultant with a strong background in industry-specific
SCM solutions and ERP systems, particularly in modules such as MM (Materials Management), PP
(Production Planning), QM (Quality Management), PM (Plant Maintenance), and LE (Logistics Execution).
Experience in project and program management is a significant plus.
Key Responsibilities
Subject Matter Expertise:
∙Provide expert advice on supply chain processes and SCM solutions.
∙Implement and enhance ERP systems, focusing on modules like MM, PP, QM, PM, and LE.
∙Assess and improve supply chain workflows to increase efficiency and productivity.
∙Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of SCM and ERP systems.
∙Lead and manage projects/programs aimed at continuous improvement.
∙Train and mentor Clients and team members on best practices and system usage.
∙Develop and maintain documentation related to supply chain processes and systems.
Consulting engagements:
∙Execute digital transformation engagements
oExecute transformations in agile mode owning & maintaining backlog
oDrive requirements prioritization
oDrive technology, UX & ML teams to achieve deliverables in each sprint
oWork with partners to enable & achieve sprint deliverables
∙Ensure successful delivery of advisory engagements
∙Enhance & improve client engagement through Industry/functional expertise of Automotive domain
Problem Solving and Solution Building:
∙Develop deep insights into Client issues based on past subject matter expertise.
∙Bring intellectual leadership to solve client challenges
∙Develop recommendations and drive team effort towards advanced digital solutions in the Automotive
domain
∙Understand industry trends and provide thought leadership
Leadership & Practice Development:
∙Interact & work with senior client leaders enable digital transformations
∙Generate pull through for IT services business from consulting engagements
∙Leverage Cognizant capabilities & solution offerings for sales and execution
∙Generate proactive proposals to address client issues
∙Guide teams on proposal & presentation creation and positioning
∙Lead practice operations in terms of revenue, profitability, and work towards achievement of goals
∙Maintain profitability targets for the Consulting assignments
Professional Qualifications and Skills
∙7 to 10 years of professional experience
∙Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
∙Extensive industry experience with SCM solutions and ERP systems (MM, PP, QM, PM, LE)
∙Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
∙Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∙Exposure to Automotive Industry through core experience or through digital product delivery for
automotive clients is preferred
∙Experience in agile methodology
∙Business analysis and requirements gathering
∙Project/Program Management experience is a plus
