We are seeking a Core & Cards Support Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for L2 application support for core banking and card processing systems hosted on JBoss or Weblogic servers. The ideal candidate will have experience in SQL, Shell Scripting, database management (Oracle/MSSQL/MYSQL), and Unix/Linux environments.
The role requires a proactive individual with technical expertise, a willingness to work on shifts, and experience supporting web servers and Java-based server applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L2 support for core banking and card processing applications.
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot JBoss/Weblogic servers.
Execute database queries using SQL on Oracle, MSSQL, MYSQL.
Develop Shell Scripting solutions for server maintenance and issue resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address incidents and escalate when necessary.
Adhere to shift schedules to support 24x7 system availability.
Technical & Skill Requirements
Mandatory Skills:
Experience in L2 support roles.
Familiarity with JBoss/Weblogic servers.
Proficiency in SQL and database technologies (Oracle, MSSQL, MYSQL).
Strong Shell Scripting knowledge.
Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems.
Flexibility and willingness to work on a shift-based schedule.
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience supporting Java-based web servers.
