Description:
• Lead EHS operations for the region in compliance with all applicable laws, statutory regulations and accepted practices for health, safety and environmental protection& ensure all facilities are legally compliant.
• Implement and monitor overall effectiveness of the Environmental, health and safety programs for the Region.
• Carry out periodic Risk Assessment and prepare location/region specific Risk Register and define controls to mitigate these risks. Conduct structured EHS Governance reviews and MRM's as per ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 45001:2018 and other relevant management system.
• Guide respective regional teams in all internal & external EHS audits and ensure closing of relevant audit compliances / audit observations.
• Conduct Incident investigation and arrive at RCA and CACA and derive mitigation plans to ensure no future recurrence of such incidents.
• Collaborate with all other CREWS verticals and ensure compliant Site operations and implement site specific EHS Monitoring Plan and reports,
• Plan & organise EHS training programs on Environmental aspects, Impact & Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, RCA CACA and Emergency preparedness and response plan etc by designing a Annual Trg Calander.
• Ensure all EHS record keeping, and program documentation is kept up to date and in compliance with applicable standards by all the locations of the region.
• Supporting and sustaining a dynamic environment that invites the development opportunities and motivates the high performers amongst the team members
• Collect review and validate regional EHS statistic on monthly basis
• Supporting Sr Leadership of Central COE team on day-to-day activities
• Review and share feedback on EHS policy, guidelines and procedures
• Plan and conducting internal EHS audits
• Preparation of audit reports and tracking for closure trough DELite
• Conducting reviews with regional EHS POCs
• Escalating critical EHS issues to central COE team
• Scheduling and conduct EHS Training and evaluate effectiveness of training imparted
• Ensure site readiness for external and internal audits and certifications
• Facility evaluation / rating on EHS parameters on a periodic basis
• Planning and scheduling of MRM for all regional / country facilities
• Reviewing data and information related to consultation, participation, incidents & mock drills at location level
• Working with PT for certification agency related commercials
• Identification and planning external trainings for regional POCs
• Prepare and enforce EHS policies to establish a culture of Health and Safety while working.
• Working with enabling functions on risk remediation and minimising the residual risk.
• Coordinating and moderating the Life safety, emergency prevention, and response planning - their implementation at enterprise level.
• Report & monitor on health and safety awareness, compliance to policies and laws, work safety related issues and statistics to relevant stakeholders.
