Description:
Principal Responsibilities
1) Imports:
• Work with the analytics team and operations team to identify opportunities to implement. Coordinate with Warehouse
Receive Shipping documents from Planning/ global sources. Follow up and coordinate for any corrections.
• Coordinate with Freight forwarder/CHA/Liner on Arrival Schedule .
• Providing ASN to FTWZ/CHA on Shipment Arrival.
• Sending GIT/Customs clearance stock report to CS and DTA teams.
• Update shipment tracker and KPI tracker daily.
• Coordinate with FTWZ/CHA on approval of Checklist for Inbound BOE & to complete the Inbound BOE.
• Follow-up for COC with QA team.
• Label advise to QA and follow-up for timely dispatches.
• Coordinate with RA/ QA team for license data and ensuring all imports are as per license.
• Preparing ADC data, and sent to the CHA, and follow-up the ADC sheet for drug clearance
• Advice FTWZ on Dispatch ,Approve checklist for Outbound BOE .
• Validate Duty Classification, Send Duty advice to Finance & Arrange for Payment .
• Follow-up with FTWZ for onetime OOC.
• Co-ordinates for inspection and necessary survey in case shipments arrive in open/torn/wet/damaged
• Managing relationship with Freight Forwarders/CHA/ & Manage SLA.
• Review Freight Forwarder/CHA performance. & Share feedback for Corrective action.
• Apply & Track for Duty Refund , ensure onetime document submission
2) Exports:
• Receiving Export Orders from Customer.
• Coordinate with FTWZ for availability of Inventory .
• Receiving Export LCs and checking with check list and point out discrepancies if any in the LC and advice for amendment, if
• Coordinate with FTWZ for shipment Readiness, ensuring Pick,Pack,Packing List Preparation, Approving Checklist
(Shipping Bill
• Updating and Communicating with customers on the shipment, documentation and payments status on time.
• Coordinate with Finance for Zeman approval & Invoicing in SAP.
• Coordinate with Customer/CHA and ensure Ontime submission of Documents to Bank.
• Work closely with Commercial Team to plan for Exports Shipments(Weekly Review & MIS).
• Liason with Bank in closing Exports Payments (Updation of EDPMS).
• Creating daily/weekly shipment dispatch reports. Maintaining all shipment related doc for accounting / auditing purpose
3) Compliance
• Manage Import and Export compliance activities in “country” adhering to global standards (Includes record Keeping,
Customs Declaration, Shipping Document correction etc.)
• Liason with Customs authorities (Inquiries/Audits ,Voluntary disclosures, HS Classification ,Valuation) &
• Support any Trade Compliance Audits & own any Trade compliance corrective action.
• Monitor and communicate to stakeholders any Customs and Trade Regulatory trends & changes that may have
• Develop SOP's inline with Trade compliance Practices & any new changes to be amended.
• Ensure Imports are inline with Foreign Trade Policy, Customs Laws and Drugs and Cosmetics Act.
• Ensure all documents are provided to Finance on time and a tracker is maintained.
4) FTWZ
• Coordinate with FTWZ for onetime checking of Inbound Consignments.
• Coordinate with FTWZ for onetime completion of VAS activity.
• Ensure FTWZ is adhering to SOP's as per organization requirement & Conduct SOP audit.
• Ensure Daily Cycle Count is in Place in FTWZ as per Organization Requirement.& Also drive for Annual Inventory Count.
& ensure Inventory targets are met.
• KPI review of FTWZ & Coordinate for Monthly MBR meeting. Ensure KPI targets are met.
• Ontime Clearance of FTWZ bills with provisions provided on time.
