 Fire & Safety Officer One BE (Fire Engineering) / B.Tech.(Safety & Fire Engineering/B. Tech (Fire Technology & Safety Engineering) from a University / Institution recognized by Govt of India with 3 years of experience in fire safety in high-rise buildings and a Specialised certificate in Regular Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) from a reputed Institute.



3 to 6 years of experience. 6 months of probation , confirmation after probation review Work from office Powai, Mumbai Head - Operations A Fire Safety Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring workplace safety, fire prevention, and emergency preparedness.



Responsibilities : • Inspect, test, operate, and maintain fire safety equipment and systems using hand tools, hydrostatic test equipment, and monitoring devices.



• Coordinate with OE/AMC service providers for major maintenance, repair, and replacement of fire safety system parts.



•⁠ Conduct daily monitoring and preventive maintenance of fire safety equipment and systems.



•⁠ Carry out periodic testing and inspections of fire protection systems to ensure functionality and compliance.



•⁠ Assist in fire safety inspections, mock drills, and emergency response activities. • Develop, implement, and monitor health & safety plans in compliance with statutory regulations.



•⁠ Prepare and enforce safety policies to foster a culture of health, safety, and compliance within the workplace.



•⁠ Evaluate existing processes, facilities, and practices to identify risks and ensure adherence to legal requirements.



•⁠ Conduct awareness programs, training sessions, and presentations on fire safety, accident prevention, and occupational health practices.



•⁠ Monitor compliance with safety standards, laws, and organizational policies by inspecting employees, machinery, and operations.



•⁠ Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive measures.



•⁠ Prepare reports on safety performance, compliance status, incident statistics, and improvement initiatives. •⁠ Recommend continuous improvements in safety systems, policies, and procedures.
