As the Manager of Talent Acquisition, you'll lead a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists, who are responsible for building talent pipelines and managing hiring processes across business units. You will lead full cycle strategic recruiting for your designated business to meet its quality and operational goals across clinical/non-clinical areas. You will enable a proactive, collaborative and strategic approach in supporting the customer while achieving key performance indicators / objectives. You will maintain responsibility for legal and regulatory compliance of talent acquisition policies and practices while supervising and directing your employees using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. You will also be responsible for Recruitment Operations with respect to Campus hiring.

The key responsibilities will include:
Conduct business review with stakeholders to provide relevant information on recruitment operations
Collaborates directly with hiring managers and business leaders on workforce planning and recruitment operations requirement.
Helps to design, build, implement and manage recruitment operations in the best possible way. Balances providing subject matter expertise with fostering open communication. Leads with an operational focus, setting strategy, objectives and policies. Establishes operational objectives for the team including work plans and delegating assignments to team.
Tracks key talent acquisition metrics with respect to recruitment opertaions. Ensures team achieves results.
Promotes an environment of creativity and innovation focused on useable improvements, as well as innovation that support the organization's mission and further its vision
Champions the identification and implementation of approaches that improve Talent Acquisition processes, approaches, tools and outcomes.
Lead, inspire, and coach a smart, ambitious recruiting team across multiple locations while driving a high level of performance against aggressive hiring plans and in accordance with Cognizant and Talent Acquisition’s core values
Foster a data-driven organization structure, leveraging talent acquisition metrics and analytics to drive decision making, implement strategies, measure team productivity and program ROI and to partner with regional business leaders to meet hiring needs
Build a comprehensive strategic hiring plan by setting the vision, strategy, and goals that you are responsible
Provide oversight and ownership for the function and provide hands on support to insure overall regional hiring needs are met
Provide expertise in market insights, talent landscape, and an understanding of talent needs to assist in developing company growth plans and forecast.
Ensure the team is fully leveraging the ATS while working to achieve talent acquisition metrics and goals including quality, hiring volume, time to fill and overall customer satisfaction. Analyze success against metrics, create and execute plans to achieve ongoing improvement in results that will increase satisfaction.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Line management responsibilities for staff members. May participate in activities related to department staff operations such as interviewing and selection, professional development, performance management, and employee counselling and separations. Approves courses of action on salary administration, interviewing and selection, professional development, performance appraisals, job description preparation, and employee counselling. Works with and advises staff on administrative policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities and methods.
Make recommendations to the current workflow and processes through automation, process improvements and innovations
Design SOP to capture the current workflow & track hold of change management.
Educational Requirement: Graduate or equivalent or relevant domain certification preferred
Relevant Experience and Minimum # of Years: 15+ years
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
· Experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter in a corporate or agency environment
· Talent Acquisition Leadership experience in a full cycle recruitment environment
· Proven ability to succeed and lead in a performance-based culture, driving and managing to specific levels of accountability
· Demonstrated success in building high performing teams through active performance management, including coaching, developing and hiring.
· Proven track record of parting with senior leaders to drive high impact, strategic talent decisions.
· Excellent problem solving, influencing, negotiating and facilitation skills
· Strong time management skills and able to work independently
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong attention to detail and an ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
· Talent Acquisition experience in a CRO, Healthcare, Pharma or Life Sciences industry
· Experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager within the CRO, Healthcare, Pharma or Life Sciences industry
· Experience as Corporate Talent Acquisition Manager leading remote workers
