Position: Senior Officer/Assistant Manager - HSE

Qualification: BTech in Industrial Fire & Safety/ Diploma in Fire & safety and Mechanical
Experience: 3+ years of HSE experience in manufacturing/textile industry. With Good knowledge of fire, machine, and chemical safety
Salary: 7 LPA (negotiable for right candidate)
Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced HSE professional to ensure workplace safety and statutory compliance. The role focuses on fire safety, machine safety, chemical handling, audits, and employee safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Factories Act, Kerala Factory Rules, and EHS regulations
- Conduct plant safety inspections and hazard identification
- Maintain fire safety systems, PPE compliance, LOTO, and work permits
- Monitor safe handling and storage of chemicals, dyes, and acids
- Conduct safety inductions, trainings, mock drills, and first aid sessions
- Investigate accidents and maintain safety records and reports
- Coordinate with government authorities for inspections and renewals
- Support safety audits and closure of observations
- Handle safety committee activities and cross-functional coordination
