Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Academic Data Analyst to join our team. The Academic Data Analyst will play a critical role in leveraging data to drive informed decision-making, improve academic outcomes, and enhance the overall educational experience for our students. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a British school environment and possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for education.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with academic leadership and faculty to identify key metrics and performance indicators to track student academic progress and achievement.
• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive databases and data systems to collect, organize, and analyze academic data effectively.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to student performance, attendance, behavior, and other relevant metrics.
• Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate academic data findings and insights to school leadership, faculty, and other stakeholders.
• Provide support and guidance to faculty and staff on interpreting and utilizing academic data to inform instructional strategies, intervention initiatives, and student support services.
• Collaborate with IT professionals to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
• Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in academic data analysis and educational research.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a data analyst, preferably in an educational setting, with a strong understanding of academic data systems and processes.
• Experience working in a British school is required.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive data with integrity and professionalism.
