About the Role We are looking for a Playwright Automation Tester to join our QA team and take ownership of automated testing for web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript, along with a good understanding of functional and API testing.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and maintain robust UI and end-to-end automation using Playwright.
● Create and execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration test cases.
● Build reusable and maintainable automation frameworks using TypeScript/JavaScript.
● Perform API testing and validate application workflows and integrations.
● Identify, troubleshoot, and report defects using Jira or similar tools.
● Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
● Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure quality releases.
● Maintain test documentation and continuously improve automation coverage.
Required Skills
● 3-5 years of experience in QA Automation.
● Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
● Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript.
● Experience with API testing, Git, and CI/CD.
● Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and QA methodologies.
● Experience with Page Object Model (POM) and automation framework design.
● Strong debugging and analytical skills.
Good to Have: Experience with Docker, cloud testing, cross-browser testing, and Playwright reporting/trace capabilities.
