We are seeking a Mining Operations Efficiency Project Manager Senior to lead and manage projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the mining operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying operational inefficiencies, implementing process improvements, and ensuring that all initiatives align with the company’s goals for productivity, safety, and environmental compliance. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of mining processes, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead large-scale operational efficiency projects from conception to completion, focusing on mining operations.
• Process Improvement: Analyze current operations to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and design strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders across engineering, production, and maintenance teams to implement process optimization initiatives.
• Budget and Resource Management: Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Efficiency Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of implemented changes and continuously monitor performance.
• Technology Integration: Identify and integrate new technologies, automation tools, and data analytics solutions that drive operational improvements.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all projects comply with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management, outlining improvements, cost savings, and overall operational impact.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation and best practices in operational efficiency.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in mining operations with at least 5 years in a project management role focused on operational efficiency.
• Strong expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus).
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale operational efficiency projects in mining.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and project management software.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to work across departments and drive collaboration.
