Job Description:

We are inviting Expressions of Interest from candidates interested in developing a long-term career within drilling operations, supporting exploration, resource definition, and mine site drilling programs. This Expression of Interest is intended to establish a talent pool for future opportunities with mining and drilling contractors operating across remote and regional Australia. Successful candidates may be considered for employer-sponsored opportunities subject to operational requirements, project approvals, and immigration eligibility criteria. The Driller's role is a physically demanding position responsible for supporting drilling crews, handling drill operations & maintaining site safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist drillers with daily exploration and production drilling activities
• Handle drill rods, tooling, consumables, and drilling equipment
• Support rig mobilization, setup, operation, and demobilization
• Conduct routine equipment cleaning and maintenance activities
• Assist with sample collection and handling procedures
• Perform pre-start inspections and report equipment issues
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards on site
• Work safely in remote mining and exploration environments

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in drilling, mining, construction, or other physically demanding industrial environments
• Experience working on exploration or mining sites preferred
• HR-B or higher driver's license
• Strong physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor in remote conditions
• Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment maintenance experience advantageous
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical, fitness, and drug and alcohol testing
• Ability to work FIFO rosters and remote site schedules

Visa Documentation Required

• Valid passport
• Updated CV/resume
• Employment reference letters
• National Police Clearance Certificate
• English language test results (IELTS/PTE where required)
• Medical examinations as required for visa processing
