Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Mobile Plant Operators for potential international employment opportunities across Australia's mining sector. We are inviting Expressions of Interest from skilled operators with experience on large-scale open pit mining equipment who may be interested in future opportunities within production mining environments. This Expression of Interest is intended to establish a talent pool for upcoming vacancies with mining contractors and owner-operated mines across Australia. Successful candidates may be considered for employer-sponsored opportunities subject to operational requirements, workforce planning, and immigration eligibility criteria. The role involves the safe and efficient operation of heavy mining equipment in production, load-and-haul, earthmoving, and mining support activities. Candidates should have experience operating large mining machinery within open pit mining or major civil earthworks environments.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy mining equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with site procedures
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
• Perform production mining, haulage, stockpiling, and earthmoving activities
• Operate equipment to achieve production and operational targets
• Identify and report equipment defects and maintenance requirements
• Maintain compliance with site safety, environmental, and operational standards
• Work effectively within production and mining operations teams
• Complete operational documentation and reporting requirements

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience operating heavy mining equipment
• Experience operating one or more of the following: Excavators, Dump Trucks, Dozers, Graders, Water Carts, or Loaders
• Previous open pit mining or large-scale civil earthworks experience
• Valid driver's licence
• Strong commitment to safety and operational compliance
• Experience conducting pre-start inspections and basic equipment care
• Ability to work rotating rosters including day and night shifts
• Relevant operating tickets, VOCs, or mining competencies advantageous

• Valid passport
• Updated CV/resume
• Employment reference letters
• Equipment competency certificates and licences
• English language test results (IELTS/PTE where required)
• Police clearance certificates and medical examinations as required
