Description
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to identify growth opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and drive revenue across target markets. The BDM will develop and execute sales strategies, manage key accounts, nurture client relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives and expand market presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research.
- Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through contract negotiation and deal closing.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and commercial terms to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align offerings with market needs and customer requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing structures, ensuring profitable and sustainable agreements.
- Track sales performance, prepare forecasts, and report on KPIs and market trends to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to drive brand awareness and generate leads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in business development, B2B sales, or account management.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics to manage pipelines and forecast revenue.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams.
