Job Description
The Store Keeper is responsible for the safekeeping and efficient management of inventory in our warehouse. This includes receiving, storing, and issuing goods according to established procedures. Maintaining accurate records of all stock is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods according to established procedures.
- Managing and maintaining inventory levels using appropriate stock management systems.
- Accurately recording stock entries, issues, and transfers in inventory control software.
- Ensuring the safety and security of stored goods through proper handling and storage.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Preparing goods for dispatching or delivery requests.
- Conducting regular stock checks to identify and address discrepancies.
- Processing of return goods and adhering to all company procedures.
- Helping in maintaining an organized and efficient storage environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (as per warehouse requirements).
