Plant head required
A Production Head, also known as a Production Manager or Plant Manager, is responsible for the entire production process, from planning and scheduling to overseeing execution and ensuring quality. They ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and meet established quality standards. This role involves managing resources, supervising personnel, and collaborating with other departments to optimize efficiency and achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Process Optimization:
Identifying and implementing improvements to streamline production processes, minimize waste, and enhance efficiency.
Quality Control:
Establishing and enforcing quality control standards, ensuring products meet specifications, and addressing any quality issues.
Resource Management:
Managing budgets, overseeing equipment maintenance, and ensuring adequate stock levels.
Personnel Management:
Supervising production personnel, conducting performance evaluations, and providing training and development opportunities.
Collaboration:
Liaising with other departments (e.g., marketing, sales, engineering) to align production activities with business needs.
Cost Management:
Monitoring production costs, implementing cost-saving strategies, and ensuring projects stay within budget.
Health and Safety:
Enforcing health and safety regulations within the production area.
Reporting:
Providing regular updates on production status, performance metrics, and any issues encountered.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing on budgets and timescales with clients and managers.
Production Equipment Management:
Organizing repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.
Planning and Scheduling:
Developing production schedules, allocating resources (personnel, raw materials, equipment), and ensuring timely completion of projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
Relevant industry: Rubber Industry, Abrasives, lubricating oil, auto component, cutting tools, bearings, break and break shoes or similar manufacturing industry. Must have: Experience of manpower handling and deployment, must understand manufacturing and how to optimise process. Must have worked for cost optimization In manufacturing.
