Job Title: Safety Supervisor
Description
The Safety Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This role involves monitoring compliance with safety regulations, conducting safety training, and leading incident investigations to minimize workplace hazards.
Responsibilities
	- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards.
 
	- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
 
	- Lead investigations into accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
 
	- Coordinate and deliver safety training programs for employees and management.
 
	- Maintain safety records and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
 
	- Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.
 
	- Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other relevant regulations.
 
	- Respond promptly to safety emergencies and incidents.
 
Qualifications
	- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
 
	- Proven experience as a Safety Supervisor or similar role.
 
	- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
 
	- Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) are advantageous.
 
	- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 
	- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
 
	- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
