Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and hands-on Product Owner to lead end-to-end product delivery, research, and iteration. You will ensure our products meet evolving market needs while driving meaningful impact in the payments space.

This role is ideal for someone with a Business Analyst (BA) or Developer background who is passionate about building and improving products.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Planning

• Lead product planning to achieve company objectives and delivery milestones
• Build strong technical understanding of Beam’s products and architecture
• Create and maintain product roadmaps and release schedules
• Ensure alignment between product strategy and cross-functional initiatives

Research & Discovery

• Understand merchant and shopper needs through qualitative and quantitative research
• Gather and analyze user feedback to identify product gaps and opportunities
• Translate insights into clear product improvements and innovations

Execution & Delivery

• Convert ideas into user stories, prototypes, and detailed requirements
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog
• Define acceptance criteria and oversee defect resolution
• Work closely with backend (Node.js), frontend, and design teams
• Monitor sprint progress and address production issues proactively
• Coordinate product launches with relevant stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related fields
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, BA, or Developer
• Strong understanding of software development and product lifecycle
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in English

Round 1: Technical interview with Team Lead (Backend / Node.js background)
Round 2: Face-to-face interview with CEO
