A leading international organization is seeking a Key Account Manager to drive strategic growth in the General Industries segment across Southeast Asia. This Bangkok-based position is ideal for experienced professionals with a strong technical orientation and a track record in B2B industrial sales.
The Key Account Manager will play a critical role in shaping business strategy, managing major accounts, and pioneering business development initiatives across the region. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution in a dynamic, cross-cultural environment, aimed at delivering exceptional customer value and supporting innovation in industrial solutions.
Design and implement regional sales strategies aligned with overarching business objectives for Southeast Asia.
Translate growth initiatives into actionable plans tailored to local market needs, including forecasting, pricing, and margin optimization.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key customers and partners, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure using CRM and digital tools.
Drive commercial negotiations and oversee contract renewals, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Act as the escalation point for complex customer issues and cross-functional challenges across multiple countries.
Identify and develop high-value accounts, securing spec-in solutions and establishing lasting partnerships.
Support and enable channel partners through training and joint business planning; provide technical and application support to customers.
Conduct market segmentation and analysis to identify new growth opportunities; build business cases for new product development and commercialization.
Monitor competitive activity and help guide strategic market responses.
Inspire and guide a high-performing sales team through influence and collaboration; set clear KPIs and foster a results-driven culture.
Maintain accurate sales records and deliver insightful reports to support strategic decisions.
Utilize CRM systems for customer data, project status updates, and performance tracking.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles in industrial or manufacturing sectors.
Demonstrated success in business development and key account management, preferably within Southeast Asia.
Strong technical expertise in industrial solutions and spec-in projects.
Familiarity with digital sales tools and CRM platforms.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; fluent English required, additional Southeast Asian languages preferred.
Willingness to travel extensively across Southeast Asia (approximately 65% overseas, 35% domestic).
Proactive, self-motivated, results-oriented leadership style, comfortable in a matrix organization and diverse cultural environments.
