Optometrist Opportunity – Coastal Southern California

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess vision and eye health
• Diagnose and treat refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism)
• Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids
• Manage ocular diseases (glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy)
• Educate patients on eye health, disease prevention, and treatment options
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EHR systems

What We're Looking For

• Doctorate in Optometry (OD) from an accredited institution
• Valid state optometry license
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform thorough eye exams
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare setting
• Commitment to ongoing professional development & education

Preferred Skills

• Experience with a diverse patient population
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
• Ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual skills a plus (depending on patient demographics)
