Human Resources Officer

We are looking for an Human Resources Officer to support Compensation & Benefits, China Recruitment, and China Payroll administration. The ideal candidate should have hands-on HR operations experience, good knowledge of China labour practices, and strong attention to detail. Experience in payroll processing, recruitment, and employee lifecycle management is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end payroll processing for Hong Kong employees and China secondment staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations

• Administer Compensation & Benefits programmes, including salary review, benefits enrolment, and related queries

• Support China recruitment activities, including coordination with hiring managers and local partners

• Manage China payroll-related matters and liaise with relevant parties for secondment arrangements

• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely submission of leave, claims, and other HR transactions

• Provide general HR administrative support and respond to employee enquiries in a professional manner

• Assist in ad-hoc HR projects as required

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline

• Solid experience in C&B and payroll administration

• Practical knowledge of Hong Kong payroll practices and experience handling China secondment / China payroll is highly preferred

• Familiar with China recruitment processes is an advantage

• Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems (e.g. Simplepay or similar)

• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)

• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to handle confidential information with discretion

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
