Production Manager
Position Objective: To administer, coordinate, plan and manage the human resource and production tools adjusting to the requirements of the production program, quality and operating costs based on a Lean Manufacturing culture to ensure compliance and execution of the indicators in the established times, with the established quality and quantities.
Requirements:
Grade: Industrial, Mechanical, Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering Language: Advanced English 5 years as Production Manager. Metal mechanics (Laser, Bending, Powder coating, Assembly, Welding, Electropunching and Punching. High ERP skills.
Main Functions. 1. Ensure proper production management and administration to meet production schedule requirements. 2. Lead, coordinate and manage team members to establish goals, objectives, actions and efforts to meet the goals of each UN, the production area and the company. 3. Support in the coordination of new projects so that they are completed on time and in the stipulated manner. 4. Ensure with the service areas that the necessary tasks and activities are carried out to achieve the goals of each UN. 5. Promote quality in the production process to ensure customer satisfaction and avoid returns. 6. Ensure compliance with the production schedule issued by logistics.
7. Validate and manage programs and indicators in order to make decisions in a timely manner, according to the objectives set by the company (FUP, 5's, Kanban, OEE, Fill rate, Scrap, efficiency, etc.). 8. Control and maintain the staff of people with the corresponding competence, according to the established headcount, as well as development of skills matrix and its evaluation. 9. Manage the budget, according to the established Budget. 10. Ensure the management of the Supervisors in charge with the operational staff, promoting strategies that constantly promote effective leadership and management. 11. Seek continuous improvement to the process of activities, to create value-added activities to the company and facilitate the work, as well as that of its collaborators.
