The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of the supply chain for our furniture company. This includes developing and implementing supply chain strategies to fulfill factory material needs, managing vendor negotiations, and traveling internationally to source raw materials at optimal pricing. A key objective is to maintain an efficient spend vs. revenue ratio.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position within the furniture or manufacturing industry.
• Visa and valid passport.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities:

• Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with the company's strategic goals and ensure seamless fulfillment of factory material needs.
• Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships, conduct vendor negotiations, and manage procurement activities to secure the best prices and terms.
• International Sourcing: Travel to other countries to identify, evaluate, and secure cost-effective sources of raw materials.
• Spend vs. Revenue Management: Focus on maintaining and improving the percentage of spend relative to revenue by optimizing procurement and sourcing strategies.
• Logistics and Distribution: Oversee the logistics and distribution processes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials and products.
• Inventory Control: Manage and monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal/accurate levels, preventing both shortages and excesses.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Safety: Lead and drive safety compliance in the day-to-day operation.
• Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate the quality of service.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
• Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on supply chain activities, performance metrics, and financials.
