Production Manager
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field. Equivalent work experience is a plus.
Experience Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position within the furniture manufacturing industry.
In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards specific to furniture manufacturing.
Responsabilities:
Production Oversight:
Manage and oversee daily operations across all production areas such as woodmill, fabric cutting, foam cutting, filling, sewing, and upholstery.
Volume Output:
Develop and implement production schedules to meet volume output requirements, ensuring timely and efficient manufacturing processes.
Quality Control:
Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure all products meet the company’s quality specifications.
Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols and practices to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Team Leadership:
Provide strong leadership and direction to the production team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement changes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Resource Management:
Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, machinery, and materials, to optimize production efficiency.
Training and Development:
Train and mentor production staff to enhance their skills and ensure adherence to best practices.
Problem Solving:
Address and resolve any issues that arise in the production process, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Reporting:
Monitor and report on production metrics, including output, quality, and safety performance.
Production Strategy:
Implement and develop strategies through accurate planning and forecast to ensure correct capacity to meet company goals.
