Engineering Manager

Direct and coordinate the activities of the engineering department to ensure the design, development, improvement, and efficient manufacturing of products, ensuring quality, functionality, optimal costs, and compliance with technical and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field. 
• Experience Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position within the furniture manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Ingeniería processes, quality control, and safety standards specific to furniture manufacturing.

Responsabilities:

• Lead the development of new processes in coordination with other departments.
• Oversee the implementation of improvements in manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Validate product drawings, technical specifications, bills of materials, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate the selection of appropriate materials and manufacturing methods for each product line.
• Ensure the standardization and documentation of production and assembly processes.
• Evaluate and approve engineering modifications proposed by the production or quality department.
• Supervise the engineering team, providing training, performance monitoring, and technical support.
• Participate in defining the engineering department's budget and controlling expenses.
