Company Profile - Our Client company is involved in the manufacturing of salt and processed salt.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation & Compliance: Prepare, check, and process all pre-shipment and post-shipment documents, including invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading (BL) or Air waybill (AWB), and Certificates of Origin.
Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with freight forwarders, Custom House Agents (CHAs), and shipping lines to book space, manage container stuffing, and ensure timely dispatch.
Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all export activities comply with local and international trade laws, third-party inspection, customs regulations, licenses, and environmental standards. Be able and willing to travel to various ports and CHA as per requirement.
Customer Service: Act as the primary contact for local suppliers related to the dispatch of material to port, consolidation of goods, providing dispatch instructions, and resolving issues promptly.
Banking & Payment: Prepare documents related to the bank, coordinate payment with the customer, generate the script, and coordinate export incentives and remittances. Reporting: Prepare MIS reports, tracking shipments, and maintaining detailed records for audit purposes.
Desired Candidate:
Graduate with 5 - 8 Years of experience in Export Documentation. Should have a strong understanding of Incoterms, customs clearance, and international trade regulations.
