Expression of Interest – Engineering Professionals (Opportunities in Australia)

We will be seeking qualified Civil Engineers seeking employment-based relocation or skilled migration opportunities to Australia.

We are inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced Civil Engineering professionals who may be interested in potential future opportunities in Australia across upcoming infrastructure projects and long-term operational roles.

This Expression of Interest is intended to build a talent pool for civil engineering roles that may become available over the coming months and does not relate to a single, immediate vacancy.

The role of Civil Engineer (Civil Infrastructure / Roads, Drainage & Sewer) involves the planning, design, coordination, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, stormwater drainage, sewer networks, and associated public infrastructure, ensuring compliance with Australian standards, authority requirements, and best engineering practices.

This EOI is intended for skilled civil engineering professionals who meet Australian migration and engineering accreditation requirements and are interested in long-term career opportunities across Australia’s infrastructure, construction, and engineering sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver civil infrastructure solutions including roads, stormwater drainage, and sewer systems.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation in accordance with Australian standards.
• Support infrastructure planning, feasibility studies, and detailed design phases.
• Coordinate with local councils, regulatory authorities, and service providers to obtain approvals and clearances.
• Review and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, design codes, and authority standards.
• Support construction activities through technical input, inspections, and engineering advice.
• Manage consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure aligned project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, risks, and deliverables against agreed schedules and budgets.
• Prepare technical reports, design submissions, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including planners, surveyors, and environmental specialists.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering aligned to ANZSCO 233211.
• 3–10+ years’ experience in civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Proven knowledge of roads, drainage, and sewer system design.
• Experience coordinating with local councils and statutory authorities.
• Eligibility to obtain a positive Engineers Australia skills assessment.
• Strong understanding of Australian design standards and codes (or ability to adapt quickly).
• Excellent technical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.

• Valid passport
• Skills assessment – Engineers Australia or relevant assessing authority
  (required for all candidates regardless of country of origin)
• Employment reference letters
• Academic and trade certificates
• English language test (IELTS / PTE or equivalent)
• Health examinations
