POSITION TITLE: Supervisor - Production
REPORTS TO: Power & Production Manager

JOB SUMMARY:
Supervise operations of wet end processes, including wellfield, brine treating, evaporators, drying, and boiler operations, on a rotational schedule.

MAJOR JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide leadership to support a safety-focused workplace and achieve an injury-free environment.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, quality control, and operational standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety by addressing incidents, conducting safety meetings, and promoting safety initiatives.
• Set clear performance expectations for employees and improve performance using management systems.
• Meet business targets and adhere to operational processes.
• Ensure equipment availability for maintenance and submit clear work requests for repairs.
• Supervise, train, and coach employees while ensuring operating procedures are followed.
• Maintain efficient operations, meeting production schedules and quality standards.
• Minimize waste, scrap, and rework while ensuring accurate production reporting.
• Communicate maintenance, production, quality, and safety issues across shifts.
• Manage parts inventory and provide vacation relief as needed.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a production environment.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of technical operations and processes in the unit/area.
• Proficiency in operating procedures, maintenance processes, and computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Working knowledge of enterprise systems (e.g., SAP) and scheduling processes.
• Ability to multitask, work in a team, and demonstrate respect and cooperation.

KEY CONTACTS:

• Daily interaction with employees across departments.
• Contact with external suppliers.

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Flexible off-shift schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Respond to urgent situations during and outside normal hours.
• Work in office and manufacturing plant environments with varied temperatures and humidity.
• Perform moderate to heavy physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, and using tools/equipment.
• Wear personal protective equipment and work in confined spaces as required.
