Our client is a leading global manufacturer in the printer, copier, office solutions space. They are currently in need of a sales manager for their Northern New Jersey office location. The candidate will be responsible for managing a team that sells specific business system products and services both on the hardware and software side. Job Description: - Manage approximately 7 sales representatives charged with selling both hardware and software technology-based solutions to companies within a territory and/or an assigned account list. - Train, coach, develop new sales representatives as well as current ones, setting clear goals such that deadlines are met and 100% of quota is hit - Conduct performance reviews including assessment of monthly plans. - Develop and submit accurate forecasts with sales representatives and conduct “ride-days” with them accordingly. - Constantly maintain product proficiency and knowledge of current and future promotions for products being sold. - Keeps accurate notes and submits via forms/paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required. - 7-10 years of related experience; management experience a strong plus (both of exempt and non-exempt employees). - Industry expertise is a must, with extensive knowledge of products within the companies’ space, as well as competitors.
