Job Description
Perform drafting, modeling, and design calculations.
Create accurate 3D models representing specified process equipment.
Update and maintain 3D models throughout engineering and fabrication phases.
Collaborate with experienced engineering staff, sharing knowledge in 3D model and drawing creation.
Work with engineering, drafting, production, and project management teams to develop fabrication drawings.
Generate, maintain, and distribute bills of material to purchasing teams.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in an engineering business environment required.
4-year engineering degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
Knowledge of steel plate and welded equipment preferred but not required.
Pressure vessel experience desired but not required.
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to create and revise 2D drawings required.
Detail-oriented with high accuracy; must provide examples of 3D model experience during interviews.
Professional and collaborative demeanor when interacting with colleagues and clients.
Strong communication skills, including fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Self-motivated, eager to learn and teach, efficient, and well-organized.
Must work onsite at the office location.
