As DOO, you will: Ensure Operational Excellence: Conduct daily check-ins with key team members, manage ongoing projects, and walk the facility to ensure standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality are upheld. Lead with Integrity: Set the tone for a respectful, hard-working, family-oriented culture. Foster trust and accountability across all levels of the organization. Oversee and Enhance Inventory Systems: Evaluate current systems, identify areas for improvement, and drive operational upgrades that improve accuracy, efficiency, and usability. ensuring product availability, inventory control, and customer satisfaction. Develop and execute strategies to grow this business segment. Build Organizational Redundancy: Identify key functions and individuals; implement cross-training and succession plans to ensure long-term stability and continuity. Support Facility Maintenance: Collaborate with operations leadership to proactively manage maintenance and ensure the facility remains compliant and high-functioning. Manage and Develop Staff: Mentor team members, oversee performance, and ensure clear responsibilities, expectations, and support systems are in place. Drive Strategic Planning: Collaborate with ownership to evaluate growth opportunities, track KPIs, assist in budgeting, and support long-term planning efforts. Oversee bookkeeping: Review various financials such as AR, AP, P&L, etc. for the goal of achieving the mutually agreed targets are hit. Administrative and Strategic Duties: Monitor and report on operational metrics. Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting. Participate in long-term planning and business improvement strategies. Proactively identify and implement growth opportunities Were looking for someone who brings: Proven experience in an operations leadership role, ideally as a Director of Operations, General Manager, or Operations Director in a warehouse, logistics. A strong systems mindsetable to see the big picture, identify inefficiencies, and implement scalable solutions Excellent communication and leadership skills with a hands-on, people-centered approach Deep familiarity with facility operations, maintenance protocols, and inventory systems Comfort managing a diverse range of responsibilitiesfrom vendor relationships, hitting revenue and profit projections, to internal training to customer-facing service Strong technology skills, including financial and inventory management tools A passion for getting the details right and for creating an environment where others can thrive Familiarity with OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards
