Job Description
Logistics Coordinator Location: Highland Park, Illinois, USA (On-site, 5 days per week) Role & Responsibilities You will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the logistics team, helping ensure that inventory flows efficiently through the business and that orders are processed, shipped, and recorded with accuracy. Your responsibilities will include: - Coordinating point-of-sale (POS) orders by allocating stock and submitting warehouse instructions - Maintaining accurate inventory levels and documentation - Filing claims and refunds for damaged or missing inventory - Batching and uploading orders into the ERP system - Liaising with suppliers, carriers and customers to troubleshoot and resolve logistics issues - Preparing and reviewing commercial shipping documentation - Quoting and coordinating shipments via truck, sea and air - Reviewing carrier invoices for accuracy and flagging discrepancies - Issuing timely status updates to stakeholders on shipment progress or delays - Creating FedEx / DHL labels and managing digital SKU assets via Dropbox - Performing other logistics-related administrative tasks as required Physical Demands - Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and screen-based systems - Regular sitting, with occasional lifting or manual handling - Must be able to hear and communicate clearly in a busy office environment

Qualifications
Key Requirements We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful logistics professional with a proven background in coordinating inventory and shipments across multiple channels. Essential experience and skills: - 2–3 years' experience in a logistics or supply chain coordination role - Strong Excel skills – including v-lookup, x-lookup and pivot tables - Export and Import experience - Strong experience in inventory management and basic financial reconciliation - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Customer service mindset with a proactive attitude - Sound understanding of shipping processes and documentation (e.g. commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading) - Proficiency with ERP systems – experience with NetSuite is a plus - Associate’s degree in a related field preferred
