Head of Finance

About The Role:

As Head of Finance, you will oversee financial accounting and budget management for the company and its U.S. affiliates, while also leading capital operations planning, performance monitoring, regulatory reporting, and financial oversight.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the primary liaison with the parent company and prepare monthly consolidated financial reports.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making on key business events and growth initiatives.
• Coordinate with tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate tax filings, and support international tax planning strategies.
• Maintain GAAP-compliant financial records to support legal, regulatory, and audit requirements.
• Foster strong relationships and clear communication with relevant regulatory bodies.
• Oversee regulatory reporting through the WinJammer system, including daily segregation reports and monthly 1-FR submissions.
• Perform real-time net liquidating value calculations and ensure capital adequacy compliance.
• Monitor net capital levels and alert senior management or regulators when thresholds are approached, in accordance with firm policy and regulatory standards.
• Supervise daily residual interest calculations and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Manage daily client fund movements, conduct reconciliations, and maintain thorough, accurate records.
• Identify, assess, and help mitigate financial and operational risks across the organization.
• Ensure client fund segregation is compliant with CFTC, CME, and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Lead enhancements to the company’s financial operations and internal control framework.
• Provide strategic financial insights to the Board of Directors and contribute to broader corporate governance, policy development, and decision-making.

What We’re Looking For:

• Over 6 years of demonstrated experience in financial management, capital planning, financing, and capital markets operations, with strong financial analysis capabilities and deep expertise in futures and derivatives.
• CPA certification highly preferred; other relevant professional designations are a plus.
• Fluent in Chinese (written and reading comprehension) is a plus as well.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven ability to collaborate on consulting engagements and integrated marketing initiatives.
• Proficient in QuickBooks, WinJammer, and other financial/accounting systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Solid background in the futures industry, including FCM financial operations and a strong grasp of relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Adaptable and able to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of an organization.
