Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Project Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of HVAC projects from inception to completion. This individual will lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and manage commercial HVAC construction and retrofit projects.
Collaborate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Oversee the installation of HVAC systems to ensure compliance with design specifications, local codes, and safety standards.
Prepare and maintain project documentation including schedules, change orders, RFIs, and progress reports.
Track and manage project budgets, costs, and financial performance.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and resolve issues.
Lead project meetings with internal teams and clients.
Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and timely project delivery.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience managing commercial HVAC projects, including new construction and renovations.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, building codes, and mechanical drawings.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
