The Factory Manager / Operations Manager is responsible for directing, controlling, and optimizing all manufacturing, QA/QC, engineering, and maintenance operations to ensure that business objectives are achieved efficiently, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with company quality standards, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
Provide leadership, direction, and performance management for Production, Engineering & Maintenance, QA/QC, Planning, and Installation teams.
Ensure employees are appropriately trained, motivated, and aligned with operational goals.
Overall financial responsibility for approved budgets within the Plant Operations department.
Ensure cost control and efficient use of resources in line with approved financial parameters.
Direct and control all manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, cost objectives, and delivery timelines are met.
Oversee production planning, execution, and performance against agreed production plans.
Ensure availability of finished goods that meet required quality standards and customer expectations.
Contribute to the development and implementation of the affiliate’s manufacturing strategy to support short- and long-term business objectives.
Identify and implement continuous improvement and quality enhancement initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
Actively monitor industry trends, technologies, and best practices to maintain the company’s competitive position.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other applicable quality systems.
Oversee QA/QC activities to ensure product quality meets company and regulatory standards.
Ensure all manufacturing operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Develop and enforce policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy working environment across all company sites.
Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies and procedures to support manufacturing excellence.
Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping for effective monitoring, reporting, and audits.
Maintain effective working relationships with all department heads to ensure seamless coordination of company activities.
Serve as the company’s primary technical adviser on manufacturing, engineering, and operational matters.
The Factory Manager / Operations Manager has full decision-making authority within their scope of work and organizational policies, including:
Budget allocation and expenditure within the department
Hiring, performance management, and termination of employees
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
MBA (Preferred)
Strong knowledge of ISO standards and applicable quality systems
Knowledge of Project Management principles
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Fluent in written and spoken English
Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience
At least 5 years in production and/or engineering in a managerial or leadership role
Strong leadership and people management skills

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Results-driven with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency
