Job Summary
The Junior Air Freight Officer – Fine Arts & Exhibitions supports the planning, coordination, and execution of air freight shipments for fine art, exhibitions, and cultural assets. The role ensures safe, compliant, and timely transport while adhering to strict handling, security, and conservation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating air freight shipments of fine art and exhibition materials from origin to destination

• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including air waybills, customs paperwork, and insurance forms

• Liaise with airlines, agents, customs brokers, museums, galleries, and exhibition organizers

• Support customs clearance processes, including temporary imports/exports and carnet handling

• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays or issues

• Ensure compliance with international regulations, airline requirements, and fine art handling standards

• Assist with packing specifications, condition reporting, and security procedures

• Maintain accurate shipment records and operational reports

Requirements & Skills

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Arts Management, or a related field (preferred)

• 0–2 years of experience in air freight, logistics, or fine art shipping

• Basic knowledge of customs procedures and air freight operations

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to handle sensitive, high-value items with discretion

• Good communication skills and ability to work with international stakeholders

• Proficiency in MS Office; freight or logistics systems knowledge is an advantage
